The Great Commission was given by Jesus almost 2,000 years ago, yet this assignment is still unfinished! The School Of Ministry & Evangelism (SOME) is designed to prepare laborers to work in the fields that are "ripe for harvest."

The vision of the SOME is to prepare you to be a world changer and equip you to help complete the Great Commission.

During your DTS did you get the feeling that you wanted more experience exercising your faith through sharing with others? Or have you ever been prodded by the Holy Spirit to go share your faith with a stranger but were at a loss for words?

Well fret no more because we are offering you a school that will not only give you weekly evangelism experience, but also lessons in several different types and styles of evangelism, not to mention the outreach where you will be thrust into many hours of conversation on the streets of some of the world’s largest cities. The lecture phase consists of 12 weeks of learning these different styles of evangelism. In addition, there is “Outreach Leadership Training Experience.” During this week you will learn the mechanics of leading an outreach from start to finish. After you learn this, you will put into practice what you have learned by actually setting up part of your outreach!

Combined in all of this, you will be gaining a heart for the different nations of the world by understanding what mission agencies from around the world are doing as well as Youth With A Mission International.

The SOME will give you vital tools and skills to effectively relate the Gospel to other cultures and societies around the globe. This school focuses on the character and ways of God and is designed to help you become a powerful and creative communicator of God’s truth. The SOME field trip will be a time of direct evangelism ministry and leadership training.
