The compassion DTS is the perfect place for you to come and make a difference in the lives of people with out hope. God's heart is breaking; and He is calling for people of compassion to reach out and extend His hope.

There is so much in our world that breaks the heart of God: Injustices, the poor, the sick, the hungry, the helpless, the LOST.and oh how the list goes on. The Compassion DTS will take a deeper look into these issues and how you can be part of the solution. You can be God's hands and feet - reaching out with compassion to bring healing to our hurting and dying world. Our September 2008 Compassion DTS will specifically target the HIV/AIDS injustice in Africa. This outreach will not be for the faint-hearted. If you are up for this task, come and be a part of God's solution to this larger-than-life problem.

The Compassion Discipleship Training School covers all the same great topics as the DTS Classic, such as the Father Heart of God, Hearing the Voice of God, Spiritual Warfare, and Relationships. But, there is also a focus on learning to have compassion like Jesus had. "Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man." Mark 1:41

Topics that could be covered include:

. Having Jesus' heart for the poor and needy
. How to minister to grieving people
. Basic training for understanding and working with HIV and AIDS

We will also have strategically focused prayer times for AIDS and other injustices.

To focus on these topics, and also keep to the DTS Classic curriculum, we have extended the school by two weeks.
