Mission Adventures is a program we at YWAM Orlando love because it allows us the opportunity to serve and partner with the local church by providing groups with easy access to missions opportunities.
We're Full Service
We at YWAM Orlando are committed to you and your team. Our passion is to take care of every detail so you can focus on your group. Our job is to take care of the food, housing, transportation, training, host staff, translators, sound systems, outreach supplies... etc. Since you don't have to worry about all the logistics, you're free to minister to and with your team. We'll do the work, so you can do the ministry.
We'll Train You
Every team that goes on an outreach will receive training that’s relevant for your team and location. We use creative methods to train the hands and the hearts of each participant. All of our trips include a pre-trip leader’s manual that will help you prepare your team for outreach.
Lifetime Impact
Our desire is to challenge participants to consider a lifetime commitment to the cause of world missions. We especially desire to impart value to the youth so they can recognize their place in the world. Hopefully inspiring them to be missions minded for the world and even at home.

Our hope is to expose your team to all types of ministry, hopefully helping them to have a well rounded mission experience. Whether it’s evangelism, performing arts, sports, or mercy projects, we want your youth to discover how their unique talents and gifts can be used on the mission field.
Haiti:
Come with us as we take the Gospel to the beautiful people of Haiti who have been terribly affected by the earthquake of 2010.. YWAM Orlando is planning 3-12 day trips to this beautiful nation all in July of 2011! We will be working in Port Au Prince (PAP) where we will reach out to the wonderful natives there and share the love of Jesus with them. Some of our ministry will include (but may not be limited to) things like; Tent City evangelism, Bible distribution, Sidewalk Sunday School, children's ministry, dramas used for evangelism, mercy ministry (which could include building projects, feeding the poor and needy, neighborhood clean up and basic clean up and much much more).

You will spend 3 days in Orlando as we train you in evangelism, mercy ministry, basic health care (how to stay healthy in another nation) and lead you in worship and the study of God's Word. Then we will lead you to Haiti and put into practice all you have learned in Orlando.
The Dominican Republic:
Come with us to the beautiful island paradise of the Dominican Republic. YWAM Orlando is planning 3-12 day trips to the DR. We will be west of the nations capital of Santo Domingo in a town called Barahona, ministering in a variety of different ways. Primarily we will work though evangelism and dramatic presentation. We will also do Bible distribution, building projects, children's ministry and reach out to Haitian refugees in a near by community.

All given dates are arrival dates into Orlando (June 29, July 13 and July 27). Training will be held at the Youth With A Mission Campus in Orlando for 2-3 days after arrival. Then team will depart for desired location on Saturdays (July 2, July 16 and July 30)
and return on the following Saturday. Then teams will debrief and depart on the Sunday after (July 10, July 24 and August 7)
