We have already finished the first week of teaching. We have been watching Winkie Pratney, talking about how to be loyal, and also Floyd McClung´s Passion videos. Here is some of the feedback we got from the students.
"We examined what passions drive us and how to go about it, changing our passions into the passions of God’s heart. Basically, we can choose what we live for, and we are called to live for Christ - to worship Him in all we say and do, to live lives of obedience to Him, to pick up our crosses and follow Him. I was amazed by the passion displayed in the lives of Jesus and Paul, and I hope that when my life is over, that I can say the words of Paul - that I have “run with perseverance the race marked out for me” - with my passion being Christ."

"This week we looked at the importance of loyalty and passion. I personally learned about how an independent spirit can cause many problems, and even cause the church to split. Winkie said it best; “An independent spirit is like an amputated limb.” Just like the human body, the church needs every person or part to work in unity, at least to be able to function properly. I also learned about the importance of knowing your passions. For your passions determine our behavior, believes, our dreams and visions for our lives. It is very important to have our passions line up with God’s if we want to make an impact in the world and to evangelize the nations."

"The teaching this week was very good, it made me think a lot about myself and what I am doing. It took me deeper than I have ever gone before. It was a great week."
- Ned
"Mostly, this week was a needed and welcomed reminder of what is meant by “Sold out to Jesus”, “Giving your whole heart to God”. “Putting God 1st”. It was a well presented series defining the acceptable level of passion for your Savior, for His plans and purposes, and the lost. It inspired and motivated in the areas shown lacking."

"One of our focuses for this week was to consider our passions, their origin and whether they were in alignment with the world of God. This was an important experience. Even more for me was the challenge to ask God to give me the desire to embrace all that God is passionate about, such as qualities like humility."

"Are you loyal to your passion? Do your passions line up with the passion of God? The Bible in its entirely about God’s passion. God’s glory is his passion and seeing that glory fulfilled on this earth. He was so passionate about it that He sent Jesus to redeem and restore us as His people so that we could take His glory to all of the nations. Are you willing to make a great sacrifice for your passions even in the face of trials? Do you know God’s heart enough that your passions align themselves with His? We must ask ourselves these questions to fully serve God in the way He intended for us."
